Free Porsche Car-Show Window Card Maker
Heading to a Cars & Coffee, a concours, or a club meet? Build a clean, printable window card for your Porsche in seconds. Enter your 17-character VIN and we decode the factory details — year, model, engine, horsepower, transmission, drivetrain and assembly plant — straight from the NHTSA vPIC database. Then add the things only you know (paint and interior, mileage, options and your car’s story) and download a print-ready PDF to prop in the windshield.
What’s on the card
The card is split into two halves. The Specifications block is decoded automatically from your VIN, so the technical details reflect the factory build. The This Car block is yours to fill in — colour and interior, current mileage, notable options or modifications, and a short line about the car’s history. Whatever you type prints exactly as written; we never guess at details the VIN can’t tell us.
How to print it
The download is a half-letter (5.5 × 8.5 in) PDF designed to print on a single sheet of standard US Letter paper — just trim to size, or print borderless on a home printer. The layout is drawn as crisp vector text, so it stays sharp at any size, whether you lay it flat in the windshield or stand it in an acrylic holder.
Where to find your VIN
Your Porsche’s 17-character VIN appears at the base of the windshield on the driver’s side, on the certification label in the driver’s door jamb, and on your registration, insurance and service documents. A valid VIN never contains the letters I, O or Q, to avoid confusion with the digits 1 and 0.
Is this an official Porsche document?
No. This is a free enthusiast tool from Porsche Hangout. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. The specifications shown are decoded from public NHTSA data plus the details you add yourself, and “Porsche” and model names are used only to describe your vehicle.
